Effective January 1, 2017, the maximum fee that can be charged for most common Notary acts is $15 per signature.
This fee is separate from any Travel Fees charged for services performed at the client’s location. Travel fees must be disclosed and agreed to in advance of the appointment.

In most cases, all Signers must appear before the Notary Public with valid State or Federal-level Photo ID (CA Driver License preferred), the document to be signed and notarized, and their fee in cash or check.
